Known as Pogo the Clown, John Wayne Gacy is widely considered one of the most notorious and prolific serial killers in American history. Gacy would lure young men to his home, sometimes get them drunk, then rape and kill them. He was convicted of murdering 33 young boys between 1972 and 1978, stuffing them into the crawl space of his home.

Gacy was also well-known for his determination and hard work for the Jaycees, constantly seeking recognition. Gacy married and had a family but when his wife caught him having sex with a teenage boy she left and divorced him. He never saw her or his kids again. Dressed in his clown uniform, Gacy would perform at various fundraising events, while also giving him access to tons of children. Gacy was put to death by lethal injection in 1994.
